Intervention

This is perhaps the most unique aspect of RecoveryAid’s mission. Recognizing intervention as a powerful catalyst for change, we strive to help the addicted or dysfunctional individual in denial enter the appropriate treatment facility. The tendency to remain in denial is common among addicts.

How can treatment programs help those who cannot or will not admit they have a problem? Intervention is the most effective way to help these people acknowledge their consequences of their addiction. RecoveryAid is at the forefront of this growing adjunct to treatment, with a staff that has facilitated more than 500 interventions, since 2003.

Ken Seeley, RecoveryAid’s founder, has been frequently featured on the A&E TV program, Intervention, as one of its original interventionists. Those who have seen the show have witnessed Ken working with a variety of addicts and addictions. With unparalleled skill and compassion, he orchestrates the challenging interaction between family members and the addicts for whom the intervention has been arranged.

RecoveryAid seeks to enlarge the scope of these efforts, by raising public awareness of the benefits of intervention, while providing the most highly skilled intervention specialists in the field.
